The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the push of the button. You can choose a general clean that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do, and it can even clean up pet hair without much difficulty. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used, but we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. We like the statement however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is superior - its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a major issue if you want to own one of the best combo vacuum and mop robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or watch TV without being distracted. If it encounters a wall or piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and then moves along.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's a lot of clutter that needs to be removed regularly, such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the Robot Vacuum Mops itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even when you're at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the best robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor creates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect different types of flooring and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the house. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel includes a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles, robot vacuum Mops which is a nice feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
