The best vacuum mop combo consumer reports Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as other models do to map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of the button. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or two thorough maps of your space to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do and can remove pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or watch television without getting distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move away if it comes across one.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and also washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong, such as low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also combine or create actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has best all in one mop and vacuum of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best value robot vacuum and mop known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead simply following a predetermined route.

The Omni Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It is able to build detailed floor maps, detect different types of flooring, and it's one of the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. But while these functions are useful, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category which could make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and [Redirect-302] silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the house. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the settings menu in which you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor or Quaker oats on carpet.
