It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size which means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with a multi-position reclining seat and a parent cup holder. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

In our test of push and turn it performed better than many of the other strollers that we tested, but it's still not the easiest to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doorways. The front wheels can to be locked in a forward-facing position and can also swivel. This is helpful for navigating through rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel during our walk on a stony path. It handled this reasonably well, even though it felt slightly bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their three-wheeled, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also offer a great selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is easy to fold and can fit into the trunk of a car even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers we tested, but because it has rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-made. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain and it's also a breeze to lift even with two kids and a shopping bag.

The seat and carrycot both have hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are sturdy and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, however it does come with a huge basket that's deep enough for a changing bag as well as plenty of groceries. It can also be linked with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately).
